 +  * On November 30, 2016, the North Carolina Library for the Blind hosted a program in which the main presenter appeared remotely. The program, A Celebration of Cooking; featured a video interview with Christine Ha, past Master Chef champion and visually impaired.  The interview was locally carried out by James Benton of the Division of Services for the Blind and a Friends Board member.  The program also featured cooking demonstrations by clients of the library, DSB and a Governor Morehead Student.  The program had 108 local participants and an additional 65 that streamed it live.  You can see the live stream[[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zMuYONKXznU&feature=youtu.be|here]].
