**From NLS:** Discussion on the chairs responsibilities in selecting the Network Library of the Year award. NLS invited help from Chairs in promoting LOY submissions from their conference.\\

**Conference Chair Questions and Discussion Points:**\\

**Midlands:** When will NLS announce the conference site for the 2018 Biennial Conference?\\

**Southern:** Why doesn’t NLS make ALL the mailing containers clear from now on?  It seems it would be cheaper to make only 1 color, and the clear ones are so practical because they eliminate the need to open containers to check what is inside.\\

**Western:** It would be interesting (and possibly useful for presenters) to know the expected number of attendees at the NLS Biennial in San Francisco for (1) the pre-conference and (2) the main conference. Also, it would be interesting to know when an updated agenda for the conference will become available.
